Spent 2 weeks in Hrg last month (October 2006). Hotel: Le Pacha. Excursions: Luxor, Cairo, Jeep Safari, Diving.

Hurghada is quite nice town,but not organize as well as could be. For example: if you don't use your hotel beach, you don't feel like you are at the sea side, buildings are covering all the view. Unfinished buildings (have no idea why?) looks like few days after war. Beside that having some special, unique atmosphere, especially after sunset, alot of lights, people on the street, shopkeepers who are trying to grab you in their shops (sometimes tiresome).

Fall time but still hot, take care to don't get burned! Use creams with high sunscreens, starts from 30. While snorkeling I suggest to wear T-shirt.

Cairo - only 2 days! 7 hours one way by bus is too much to do in one day! And Cairo by night - great view!

Luxor you can do in 1 day, but don't forget to take at least few bottles of water, best if you'll buy termal bag before travelling.

Jeep Safari - my wife enjoyed, I got bored (depends what you like)

Diving - just have to do that! The most beautiful thing I saw in my life!
